It was actually painful to translate that... Are there really morons like that out there, without any common sense? After all, there must have been a reason for adding this line...

Must have been made for Americans originally. They need to have disclaimers on everything or they'll sue if something happens due to their own stupidity. -.-

We also have one on hair dryers that advise us not to use it in the shower or bath tub. That one kills me.

Literally, were you dumb enough to try it. :D Although I'd guess that electricity can be somewhat hard to understand for some.

Of course, there's always worse...

I figure if someone is dumb enough to use an electrical appliance in water then they are candidates for the Darwin Awards.

What about warning people against putting their pets into microwave ovens in order to dry their fur after a bath? ^^;

Ah, another classic. I'm less surprised with these, though, since you can not actually see how microwaves or electricity work without trying it first. Not understanding how liquids behave in a container where you can actually see it move, now that's already somewhat beyond my imagination.
