A Very Happy Birthday to luxrays!

Sleep now. 7 hours of Baldur's Gate II can be fun, noticing that it's already 3 AM not so much.

And sorry for mixing birthday wishes with other things! I usually try to avoid this, but dead tired now...

Ah, yesterday was fun. Luckily it seems I didn't miss much by being offline for a whole day. Started my 4th playthrough of Mass Effect (finally finished my Renegade earlier this week) and didn't leave the computer until 2 AM, other than for dinner. :D Fun times indeed. Well, reason number one for this was that I really want to see what happens in Bring Down the Sky if the hostages survive. Since I finished my first playthrough before that mission was released and my next two were not so nice people (both aiming for Renegade, but the first failed that). ( Cut for unnecessary character talk. ) Reason number two added itself when I started the game and noticed that new DLC had been released - Pinnacle Station is now available as well (although actually getting it was an epic tale of its own, since the link provided by the game points to the US/Canadian version of the EA Store and no options for Europe there - luckily the ME forums had a link for the UK store as well). So that's been installed now as well. ^_^

Which reminds me that I also finally ordered the Mass Effect Soundtrack. Took me long enough... Well, it became really tempting again after finishing the game for a third time and BioWare adding some awesome DA:O dragon t-shirts to their store sealed the deal. Both the red and white version have been ordered as well. That company really knows how to take my money... :P

(And on the topic of evil companies pulling money out of my pocket, Feldt's VA single obviously has been pre-ordered as well. (Still disappointed that Louise didn't get hers right after Saji... (Laughing my head off at these two being the first singles after the Meister's, though, looking at those nice little Phantom CDs...)))

Well, at least it wasn't an icon post again, back to work now...

So, a tiny little package from Finland arrived today, with Nightwish's "Made In Hong Kong (and in various other places)" CD+DVD. With the Dark Passion Play World Tour documentary on the DVD. Including my new favorite game, Drunken Uno... Seriously, best part(s) of the whole thing! XD

Hmm... Apparently this computer I'm using at this very moment in the university has Starcraft and Unreal Tournament installed... :D

You know, last week's insane amount of work seems more and more like a good thing... Not only did it give me enough money for some other Gundam models, now I also managed to finally notice that BioWare's Sonic RPG is coming out already this month. Obviously pre-ordered that as well. :D

Also, nice new comments on my icons are love. Especially the one person who actually took a Sekirei icon. It's nice to know I'm not doing that series just for myself (especially as I'm actually not using any icons from there).

Finally gor the time to finish Mass Effect today. Definitely one of the greatest games I've played. *nods* And the next book is out soon as well. ^_^

Sluggy Freelance has started the next HP parody, Torg Potter and the Giblets with Fiber. :D

My little town at MyMiniCity is finally big enough to also get to increasing the industry. Yay! :)

BioWare and EA have announced a PC version of Mass Effect! Thank you! *loves*

Because annwyd seems to have so much fun with this, created a city for myself as well - come visit me! :D

Back to the insanely big Microsoft translation now...

The following is not even a rumour, just something I came up while walking to work this morning.

Everyone's asking for it, and BioWare is refusing to talk about it - the possible PC version of Mass Effect. Now, if this would ever be made at all, what I would do if I was working for Microsoft or BioWare, would be this: I would wait until the second part of the trilogy is out on Xbox360. Then, after a couple of months when it's sold enough, I would announce the PC version. The Xbox crowd would obviously buy the third part for the console as well, so I would have secured that part of the market. The next thing would be the second part for PC, with the last part of the trilogy following at the same time for both systems. Makes sense, doesn't it?

So, something else to post for a change, too? Apparently.

After a year of silence on that front, twoflower has finally resurrected i am ikon. There will be some changes, but the important thing is that it's alive again! :)

In other somewhat related news, I finished re-reading Sailor Nothing last night. Much recommended. Although also with warnings - the 18+ note is there for a reason, and the reason is not porn.

I'd also like to point out that BioWare is evil - every new article about Mass Effect is eating away on my resolve to never buy an Xbox 360. That game is going to be just too damn good...

And more on gaming, another thing taking away some of my time recently has been Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. Yes, we all know I bought it just because of the actors, especially Michael Ironside... :P

But I cannot really do a post without mentioning icontests, it seems... cg_icontest still has submissions from only two members for this week's (already extended) themes. So if there are any Code Geass iconmakers who would be interested in entering, please do so.

edit: A visit to the post office later, and I'm also the owner of these two things. :)

Ah, Nightwish, why do you always have additional songs on the Japanese releases? I'm this (--><--) close to just ordering another pair of CDs from there as well and just might get all the next albums from CDJapan.

A Very Happy Birthday to cagallizala!

Having the usual Pokemon game trouble in Diamond as well. That is, reaching the Pokemon League is no problem, but then being about 10 levels below the opponents really stops the game. Luckily there's enough to do elsewhere as well. Went Unown-hunting yesterday and met a lot of awful puns when the U one was the last one missing (well, and ! and ?, but you can only get them after you have every other one anyway). Examples include "Where is U?" and "No U's!".

Had one of my icons rejected at seed_stills. Tried to stretch the rules too much this time. ^_^ I just love taking the themes and twisting them around a bit.

Hmm... I also remember that there was something I wanted to say about the last HP book, but I seem to have forgotten it. :( Ah, now I remember! ( The Malfoys! )

OK, I still need to make icons for inu_stillness, so see you later. Ah, and also a couple of fanlisting layouts - in other amazingly good news, wolfshearted is letting me adopt Toboe from Wolf's Rain! ^_^

Silliest moment in Pokémon Diamond... After catching Dialga, the professor is talking to me about my most magnificent battle against it. Of course, like for (I believe) most players, the battle lasted just as long as it took to throw the Master Ball. :D

Well, technically I've already said this because her birthday party is where I spent most of today. Well, there and on the way there and back.

This week didn't really see many icons from me at the icontests. Because of a couple of translations/proofreadings, but mostly because I was having too much fun with my new Pokémon game. :D Might try to make a couple of icons for those where I can still submit icons today, but might also not. I do feel a bit bad for missing such nice themes, though...
